History
In Brazil, our story begins with Tribolab, created in 1995 by Professor Baroni, a pioneer of the ferrographic technique in the country.
In 2017, ALS expanded its operations in Brazil by acquiring Oilcheck and consolidating ALS in Minas Gerais, serving the entire country. With this new acquisition of Oilcheck, ALS global gains the position of largest fluid analysis laboratory in the world.
In 2018, the entire operation was concentrated in Contagem, making us the largest 24-hour analysis laboratory in Brazil. With an even more complete scope: serving mobile and industrial equipment and insulating oils. We have the largest database in the market, the most specialized team of professionals in the segment, we are the official laboratory of large companies and equipment and we operate in all market segments that use lubricating oil, from equipment manufacturers to dealers and the end consumer.
In 2021 we opened our second laboratory in Cuiabá, MT, to serve more companies in the region, and our idea is to deliver a pioneering and assertive lead time and data experience for our clients.
Service - Analysis of oil, fuels and refrigerants
Effective condition monitoring can help you achieve maximum service life and minimum operating costs for your assets, with analysis of brake fluid, coolants, diesel, grease, and many other varieties of products covered.
Permanent and detailed studies of the lubricating oils used in machinery can point to anomalies. Component wear levels, for example, are often identified by the presence of microparticles in the oil.
Contamination by water, fuel or other products can also be detected by fluid analysis. This monitoring can guide early maintenance actions, preventing future failures.
Fluid analysis is used to save on lubricants and prevent equipment defects. In its application, the wear conditions of the machine, the properties of the oils and their degree of contamination are monitored.
